a buddy of mine and his wife ended up having their baby the day after we had Tanner, and they were even in the next room over. so we thought we should capture the moment... 

blog spam

now they've thought of it all...did anyone else out there realize that people can spam a blog? i got an email notification one day from the blog letting me know that someone had posted a comment, so i rushed out to the site to see what it was and was disappointed and angered to see that it was some nonsense from some spammer. as a result, i disabled comments for the "The family..." post and from now on anybody posting comments will have to do a word verification (you know - where they show you an image of those wavy, scribbled letters and you have to type them into a field before you can proceed). sorry for the inconvenience, but i don't want our blog getting all jammed up with a bunch of garbage.
