its hard to believe i haven't written in this blog for about a month, but things have been pretty hectic with preparing for the new baby and everything. we still have some stuff to buy, but we're getting there. the baby could literally come at any time, so we're trying to be as ready as we can. this baby is going to be bigger than Gavs, so its kind of strange to us that he's holding out so much longer. but hey, i'm not going to tempt the fates by complaining. we know he's head down, so that's a contributing factor. in any case, that's pretty much "the news" at this point. just watching. and waiting...

here's Gavs enjoying a milkshake at the purple cow. you know how in cartoons somebody will take a glass of some liquid, and put a straw in, and start drinking and you see the level of the liquid just go down, down, down, down until its all gone in like, a few seconds? well that's alot like the way Gavs drinks a milkshake. no joke. he just pretty much sucks it down and doesn't stop until its "all gone!" (as he would say). its really something to behold. i don't understand how he doesn't get a brain freeze...
